PURPOSE Individual approach to each client is essential to achieve good results. Therefore, we start cooperation by defining our Client’s specific expectations, requirements and needs. Next step is to choose the most optimal method of foreign language teaching.
LOCATION AND SCHEDULE Language trainings are conducted in our schools or on the premises of your institution on convenient dates.
LEVEL We start cooperation from conducting qualification tests to determine level of language skills. Determining of level as well as knowledge of expectations helps to choose an appropriate book, complementary materials and a teacher: Polish or a native speaker.
PROGRESS TESTING AND ASSESSMENT We regularly conduct fragmentary tests and each term ends with a term test that covers all the material covered within the course. In order to continue learning at the next level it is required to pass a term test. Several times a year we carry out anonymous surveys among all our students to assess quality of conducted classes and satisfaction of our clients. On completing each term you receive a report on frequency and progress of students. On request of our students we can issue MEN (Ministry of National Education) certificate that confirms completion of a course on a given level and a final mark.
TEACHERS who work in CITYSCHOOL are well-prepared and qualified. The minimal requirements are higher education connected with a taught language and experience in teaching. A good contact of a teacher with a student is in our opinion a matter of the utmost importance to achieve progress in learning. The highest value of our company are People. Polish teacher for a 45-minute lesson: 65 PLN
Polish teacher for a 60-minute lesson: 90 PLN
Native speaker for a 45-minute lesson: 75 PLN
Native speaker for a 90-minute lesson: 110 PLN
the prices are listed as a training cost of one group of Students. Number of students in a group: 1-10 people.
Language courses are exempt from VAT tax.
 Our main goal in teaching languages in CITYSCHOOL is communicativeness that is understanding and being understood. We achieve it by using one of two methods: traditional (in dual system) or Callan Method.
TRADITIONAL METHOD is a method based on a communicative approach, so called Communicative Approach. The classes are based on work with a book and improve all four language skills, that is listening, reading with comprehension, speaking and writing. An important element of that method is improvement of knowledge of grammatical structures in the scope allowing for accurate expressing of one’s own opinion. Classes are conducted by a Polish teacher or a native speaker. Students work in pairs and groups, whereas tasks and their subject matters enable use of language in everyday situations.
CALLAN METHOD is an unconventional communicative method, whose focus is, above all, improvement of the most difficult ability – speaking. It consists in learning of language expressions that are the most useful in everyday life. The method is the most effective in case of teaching so called “audiles”. Classes consist in constant conversations with a teacher, asking and answering questions in order to automate statements. Callan method is recommended for people who desire quick learning of a spoken language.
The Semester includes guaranteed 60 teaching hours in price 799 PLN. For afternoon (at 4 PM) morning or weekend courses school offers special price – 599 PLN (it does not concern secondary-school final exam preparation).
Classes take place mainly twice a week, 90 minutes each. Classes start at 7:15, 9:00, 16:00, 17:45, 19:30. Weekend classes take place on Saturday for 135 minutes and start 9:00, 11:30 and 14:00. The semester begins in October or on breakthrough of February and March, or July
Every semester ends with semestral examination, which credit authorizes to continuing classes on next level, and also to get certificate of MEN.
In the middle of semester the progresses in education are monitored by tests containing fragments of talked over material (every 2-3 weeks).
Pay in instalments is possible.

In the face of integration of Poland with European Union we undertake special trying to make our beneficiaries prepared for possessing equal rights and competitive participation in United Europe. Living up to identified needs we participate in undertakings strengthening to preparation of region for European integration. We propose You co-operation among other things in range: the formation of area of science of foreign languages it and the dynamization of taking part of new medias in this area, formation of European nets of co-operation, of formation and dynamization of innovative approach to linguistic education, formation of modern informative society using science technologies of foreign languages, of improvement of supplies by effective using the potentials resulting from existing experiences and new challenges, planning and realization of project undertakings, finding financial instruments and non-financial development, getting funds on development of educational infrastructure, on development of project undertakings funds (among other things the promotion) as well as human supplies. Normal up to 6 pages executed per one working day
Urgent 7 – 12 pages executed per one working day

Performance of translations from a foreign language into Polish and from Polish into a foreign language
within the 1st language group (English, French, German and Russian) and normal mode:

a foreign language into Polish 55 PLN/page
In a normal mode we charge the basic rate in accordance with a price list for translation of 1 page.
Urgent translation is charged by adding 25% of the basic rate (a normal mode).
Express translation is charged by adding 25% of the basic rate (a normal mode).
You shall add 22% of VAT to the listed prices.
